Wildcat
Creek Access Sites
|
The objective of MuskratsDen.com
is to provide inspiration so people can enjoy the wonderful natural resources
here at home........Indiana..........Wildcat Creek.........our backyards.
Legal and logical access is one of the most important factors to the enjoyment
of Indiana's rivers and creeks. At some time in the future I will prepare
a special page that describes the pitiful "legal" situation of river
access and stream-use that exists in Indiana, and compare that to some of
the traditions that exist in our neighboring states. For now, just do it.......go.........get
in the Creek and enjoy it. Be reasonable when dealing with landowners, stay
away from problem spots, and you will have a marvelous experience.
This page will eventually contain
the most complete information on Wildcat Creek Access Sites ever compiled.
Every access location that is available to the public (including many private
sites) will be included. Detailed descriptions will be provided, and updated
as situations change. Many more private sites will be stored in an archive
that will be available only for special circumstances, and accessable only
by e-mail request.
Soon, I will prepare an access
site overview page that will describe all the acronyms, abbreviations, etc.
For now, I will spen my time preparing a comprehensive list of the sites.
Enjoy!
The access sites will always be
listed in a "Downstream" direction. Naturally, that is the direction
you travel...Right? Unless you are canoe fishing with me, of course.

ACCESS SITE INFORMATION REQUEST
No data collection of this type is ever complete. Please contact me
with any info that you believe should be included or changed. I am especially
concerned with landowner info at private access sites: names, addresses,
phones, e-dresses, and their rules or desires concerning use of their
property.
